LawPlus Ltd. is proud to announce that INTA (International Trademark Association) has selected our Senior Partner Kowit Somwaiya to serve as a member of the INTA Data Protection Committee (DPC) for the second term (2024-2025).  The DPC works on developing and advocating the INTA’s policy regarding the impact of data protection law on trademark rights, monitoring data protection cases and global data protection legislative developments, preparing studies and analyses of data protection law and practice and proposing data protection policy recommendations to the INTA Board of Directors.

Kowit used to serve INTA as a member the Board, a member of the Nominating Committee, the Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific GAG, the Chair of the Harmonization of Trademark Laws and Practices and the Chair of the East Asia and Pacific Anti-Counterfeiting Sub-Committee, to name a few.
