On 12^th June 2018, the Myanmar Investment Commission (“MIC”) issued its Announcement on Submissions of Annual Performance Report by Companies Operating Businesses with MIC Permits and Endorsements (“Investors”) as follows:-

1.  Each Investor must submit an Annual Performance Report to the MIC in a prescribed form within 3 months from the end of the fiscal year. The Annual Performance Report must include the details specified under Clause 196 of the Myanmar Investment Rules 2017, e.g. progress in implementing the investment project, material variations from the details prescribed in the MIC application, compliance with the conditions of the MIC approval, etc.

2.  A summary of the Annual Performance Report must be published by the Investor on its website or the MIC’s website within 3 days from the submission date. The website’s address of the Investor must be notified to the MIC if the Investor will publish its Annual Performance Report on its own website.  A soft copy and a hard copy of the Annual Performance Report must be submitted with the MOC if the Investor does not have its own website.
